The things people ask us
The things people ask us
How does it actually work?
You set a meal timetable. What you want, how you want it cooked, who each meal is for, what time it should arrive and where it should go. We cook it fresh and bring it to you. That is the whole thing.
Can I ask you to delete my data?
Yes, any time. You can ask us to delete it, send you a copy, correct something, or a few other things. Use the data request form, or write to admin@kitcha.ng directly. We reply within 30 days.
Can I plan for my whole family on one account?
Yes, and this is the part people use most. Decide who gets what and when they get it. Your lunch goes to your office, the children's food goes to their school, dinner is waiting at home. Different meals for different people, all on the same plan.
What about allergies, conditions and health goals?
Tell us once, per person. Allergies, restrictions, health conditions, and what they are aiming for, whether that is losing weight, training, or simply eating better. Every meal that person receives is built around it, automatically.
Can I see calories and nutrition?
Calories, sodium and full nutrition are shown on your meals, so nothing is guesswork. You can see what you are eating before you choose it, not after it arrives.
Can I set a budget?
Yes. Set what you want to spend for a day, a week or a month, and we build a meal plan around that number and help you keep track of it as you go. Feeding your family should not swallow your income.
How often can I get food?
Once a day or three times a day. Daily, weekly or monthly. For yourself, or in bulk for the whole family. You set the rhythm and you can change it.
Where can it be delivered?
Home, work or school, and they can be different for different people on the same plan. You choose the time and the place for each meal.
Is the food actually fresh?
Every meal is cooked in our own production factory by professional chefs, from ingredients we source ourselves, on the day it is for. No reheating. No warming up yesterday's food.
Do I have to commit to a plan?
No. You can order a single meal for a single day whenever you like. The plan exists because it saves you the thinking, not because we want to tie you in.
Can I skip a day or pause?
Yes, any time before 9pm the day before. Empty days carry no charge at all. If you are travelling, leave the week half empty.
Do you cook Nigerian food?
Yes, and it is most of what we make. Jollof, soups, swallow, stews, rice dishes, and the drinks and bakery that go with them. Order soup by the litre when the house is full.
When and where does Kitcha start?
Lagos, area by area. We open cluster by cluster rather than all at once, so that we can actually deliver when we say we will. Tell us your area when you start your plan and it genuinely influences the order.
Can my company, school or estate use Kitcha?
Yes, and it works the same way, just for more people. One schedule, one delivery, one invoice. Write to admin@kitcha.ng.
